Fascinating find here. After a four-year study, Leadership IQ found the most common reason CEOs get fired is because of a failure to manage change during a change initiative. Not surprising since most leaders think change management is only sending out newsletters. However managing change is also about identifying, assessing, managing and mitigating the risk associated with the change.
